Honey buttons nail polish Review/ Nail art

The girl makes custom indie polishes, what else can I say! Honey Buttons asks for you favorite colors and what you want the polish to be inspired by. For example, the colors I chose were blue, green, and PINK! For the label I gave her three specific GIFS that's I wanted to be used, I'm sure the images gave her and inspiration and how to go with the polish. Also, I would like to add that the formula is not out of the ordinary, such as: it is workable (make do), not too thick, and not too messy. The bottle itself and nail polish brush are the same as any other polish and I love everything about her polishes, the pink is my favorite.

Liquid Sky Lacquer Nailart/ Review

When swatching or trying out a new polish, I like to add a little nail art into it.
Here is an indie polish made by Carolyn. Her polish was the first time I ever heard of anyone making their own polish, that of course was about a year ago. I'd like to add that her polish was the first I ever received from these so called indies. She actually gave one to me because she saw how much I loved her polishes (from what I had seen on her profile and swatches from others) I had no idea what to expect when I received it. When seeing "My wish to you" in person, I thought to myself, " this looks like any other regular polish." I still have that polish and I always treasure it because it brought me to my favorite indie polish maker and enabled me to buy more from her and try out new indies from other makers.

Basics~

Nails
I have been doing my nails for maybe a year and a half constantly now, so you can say that I know how to paint my nails well. Sometimes seeing nails painted poorly irritates me but I know those people are not what you call professionals, you know. For this reason, I decided that I would share some tips and tricks about painting nails, nail necessities, and clean looks.

Adventure Time!

I never actually seen this show but I was requested to it a while back from one of my followers on IG.
Not here of course because I don't have any followers... well one. Wahhhhhh! Anyways, I actually liked how these turned out, took me about an hour to perfect the design. Nail prep and after care is probably another thirty minutes. To show detail and take away reflections, I used a matte top coat by China Glaze " Matte Magic. " I really loved the outcome of these nails!

Sunset Nails !

It's summer if you hadn't noticed! Summer is not only a time for swim suits, shorts, tans, but also a time for nails. Why don't we paint our nails bright, come on it's times for the neon to revive our spirits!
My sunset nails part 1 was inspired by a picture I found on google, in that picture there was one more person but you can only add so much on a nail no? Although you can't really tell, I used an orange ombre and used three different oranges. I then dabbed on some neon purple at the very tips of my nails for a less plain mani. For the sun all I did was add a dot of neon yellow and dabbed it a little but for the rays, again I added a dot of neon yellow to define the sun. I am very pleased how these turned out.

New Neon!

This girl loves her neon!
The other day I picked up three neon colors from this summer's China Glaze collection and I must say that I am too pleased with the sheerness of these polishes. However, putting these polishes over white is not a difficult task which is why I still bought them. After applying a coat or two of white, I then proceeded to apply "Heat Index, " took me two to three coats for full opacity. I must say I really love this shade of pink and brightness of it. I can easily say that it is closely compared to a highlighter pink color, almost if not exactly the same.

Leopard Print Nails

Perfect for Summer and Spring

This fun mani was inspired by the wonderful and talented PackAPunchPolish from instagram. I also did a callaboration with Mely a.k.a Mely_Saldivar who is also from instgram. This fun mani is pure nail polish with the exception of the the bright fluorescent acrylic yellow color(fancy talk for neon).
